Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Manager of Master Data Governance to lead regional Local Data Stewards and oversee day-to-day MDM operations across the organization. The role requires strong SAP MDG expertise and a proven track record in data migration, governance, and process improvements within a global environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, mentor teams, and drive global master data initiatives to support commercial goals while adhering to internal controls and budgets.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Master Data Management in a global environment.
• Strong SAP Master Data and Material Master expertise.
• Experience leading teams, projects, or mentoring stakeholders.
• Background in data migration and SAP implementations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules (MM, SD, FI, QM) and related business processes.
• Experience with master data governance, data quality, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational management of Local Data Stewards in the region.
• Lead MDM daily operations and projects across Alcon divisions, franchises and regions.
• Drive major projects affecting multiple divisions and regions to support commercial goals.
• Contribute to department budget achievement and personal talent development of LDS in the region.
• Maintain compliance with Group, internal, and external controls.
