Job summary

Testronic is seeking a Localization Quality Assurance specialist to ensure high-quality translations and cultural accuracy across games. You will review text, audio and in-game content for tone and consistency, and report findings with clear documentation.

Ideal candidates have native Brazilian Portuguese or C2 proficiency, strong English communication, and excellent MS Office skills. You will collaborate in a multicultural, fast-paced environment with online training resources available.

Qualifications

• Brazilian-Portuguese C2 or native level required.
• English C1 level for internal communication and reporting.
• Excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation in your language.
• Good MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Strong communication and teamwork; able to work under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Find and correct translation errors, spelling mistakes and ambiguities.
• Check the game’s tone, style, audio, text and cultural correctness.
• Create reports in Excel and Jira.
• Submit quality-improving suggestions for identified errors.

Join our Localization Quality Assurance department and be responsible for:

• Finding and correcting any translation errors, spelling mistakes and ambiguities.
• Checking the game’s tone and style, audio, text, and cultural correctness.
• Creating reports in Excel and Jira.
• Submitting quality improving suggestions for the errors you find.

• Brazilian-Portuguese C2 level or native.
• English C1 level to ensure internal communication and reporting.
• Perfect knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation of your language.
• Good MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Great communication skills allowing to express yourself precise and clearly.
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure of time.

You can score extra points for:

• Passion for gaming and curiosity for new titles (all types of games count!).
• Experience in game testing, translation, or linguistic game testing.
• Familiarity of platforms like Sony (PS4/PS5), Microsoft (PC, Xbox One/XSX/XSS), Nintendo (Switch), Apple (iOS).
