Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in (Insert location) is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to assess and plan care, providing skilled nursing services per orders, and monitoring patient status with accurate documentation. Current TB/Chest X-ray and active LPN license are required.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• TB test or Chest X-ray current.
• BLS certification current.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and document actual or potential nursing diagnoses.
