Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, seeks a Software Engineer to join the Platform Networking Team in Poland. You will work on low-level networking software, SDN stacks, and port network daemons to ARM servers powering our data center fabric.

You will port to ARM64, optimize virtual switches and throughput, and implement host-level driver support for NVIDIA BlueField and ConnectX NICs on ARM servers. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and debugging on Linux are core to the role.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in low-level networking software development.
Strong knowledge of Linux network stack, sockets, TCP/IP, VLANs, VXLAN.
Familiarity with PCIe drivers, SmartNICs, or packet processing pipelines.
Experience with Wireshark and tcpdump is a plus.

Responsibilities

Port internal networking daemons and tools to ARM64 host environments.
Optimize virtual switches, overlay networking, and throughput across host and guest boundaries.
Implement host-level driver and software support for NVIDIA BlueField SmartNICs and ConnectX network cards on ARM servers.
Troubleshoot low-level network driver, socket layer, PCIe device, and packet routing on Linux ARM.
