Job summary

VirtusLab Ltd. is seeking a Python expert with deep Linux internals knowledge to maintain and modernize enterprise data platforms. The role focuses on end-to-end infrastructure operations, automation, and data pipeline integrations across Python and Java stacks.

You will map and secure graph connections (GraphDB) with strong emphasis on security hardening, monitoring, and alerting, enabling a scalable, high-availability developer ecosystem within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Deep, hacker-level understanding of Linux internals, memory management, IPC, and system calls.
• Expert-level Python (performance optimisation, async execution, C/Rust interop).
• Hands-on expertise with Nix / NixOS or strong mastery of declarative system configuration & reproducible builds.
• Advanced experience with low-level kernel diagnostics and profiling (eBPF, perf, strace, valgrind).
• Fluent command of spoken and written English.
• Uncompromising ownership, analytical rigour, and a natural instinct for deep technical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and modernize core infrastructure and data platforms for a large-scale enterprise ecosystem.

Key architectural priorities include mapping, tracing, and securing graph data connections (GraphDB) across the ecosystem, while maintaining rigorous security hardening, robust monitoring, and proactive alerting.
