Job summary

Rezolve Ai in Gdansk, Poland is seeking a senior Linux engineer to own and operate robust RHEL-based infrastructure across data centres.

You will validate work scopes, manage patches, design scalable Linux solutions, and drive risk-aware change management with strong documentation. The role requires hands-on experience, collaboration with OEMs, and ITIL-aligned practices to ensure reliable systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Linux (RHEL) experience.
• Experience in Linux product engineering and lifecycle management.
• Experience in Linux infrastructure design including Data Centre.
• Proficient in Linux (RHEL) design and implementation.
• Experience with patch management for Linux infrastructure.
• Knowledge of clustering solutions (Veritas, PowerHA, Red Hat).
• Experience with Satellite Server installation and administration.
• Experience with NIM, mksysb backup and restoration.
• ITIL fundamentals knowledge.
• Strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Acquire knowledge of customer landscape and architecture.
• Validate Scope of Work and Due Diligence of Data; identify gaps.
• Validate RLS and identify skill gaps.
• Develop SMTD with complete understanding of customer architecture.
• Provide reverse knowledge transfer to BAU and obtain sign-off.
• Articulate risks and sign-off SMTD, Risk Register; propose mitigations.
• Implement best practice, hardening, service assurance rollout.
• Identify technical and operational risks early and propose options.
• Change management in customer devices for remote management and onboarding.
• Lead from the front; end-to-end ownership and go-live of services.

Responsibilities:

• Acquire knowledge and detailed understanding on customer’s landscape and architecture
• Validate Scope of Work and Due Diligence of Data and identify gaps
• Validate RLS and identify skill gaps
• Gather required and detailed information and develop SMTD with complete understanding of customer’s architecture.
• Responsible for giving reverse knowledge transfer to BAU and getting sign-off fromcustomerand internal stakeholders
• Effectively articulate risks and get sign-off on SMTD, Risk Register and other technical / operational documents. Propose risk mitigation plan and options.
• Responsible for implementing best practice, hardening, service assurance rollout
• Knowledge and ability to identify the technical and operational risks well in advance and make recommendations of solution options
• Changes management in customer devices for remote management of devices and onboarding of Monitoring tool

Requirements:

• Should have minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience Linux (RHEL)
• Goodexperiencein Linux product engineering andmaintainsoftware / hardware life cycle management.
• Experience inLinux(RHEL)infrastructure design including Data Centre.
• Proficient inLinux (RHEL)design and Implementation.
• Good Experience in LVM, User Management and troubleshooting.
• Able to work with OEMs tomaintainproduct life cycle, importantpatch,and firmware updates etc.
• Experienceonpatch management for completeLinux(RHEL)infrastructure.
• Good understanding of various tools that are used to perform patching of theLinux(RHEL)servers
• Good understanding of various Clusters Solutions such as Veritas Cluster, PowerHA, REDHAT Cluster,High PerformanceComputing (HPC), GPFS, PCS clusteretc.
• Good Experience in Satellite Server Installation, Configuration and Administration.
• ExperienceinLPAR installation and maintenance.
• Experience inmksysbBackup andrestoration.
• Good Experience in NIM Server Installation, Configuration and Administration
• Good understanding of variousbackup(Cohesity / Networker)and storage technologies.
• Project Methodology knowledge and experienceparticipatingin project settings vs operations settings along with a fundamental understanding of ITIL.
