The competition is open to persons who meet the conditions stated in Art. 113 and 116 of the Act of 20 July 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws: 2024, item 1571, as amended) as well as those stated in the Szczecin University Statute and fulfill the criteria indicated in the competition.
The competition is the first stage of the procedure of employing academic staff, and its positive outcome is the basis for further proceedings.
The candidate should fulfill the following criteria:
Candidates entering the competition should submit the following documents:
1. a statement of compliance with requirements as specified in Art. 113 of the Act of 20th July 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws: 2024, item 1571, as amended) - formavailableat website;
2. a letter of application adressed to the Rector of Szczecin University;
4. a document (or certified copy thereof) confirming the academic degree, if documents are not in Polish, a certified translation is required as well as a certificate of equivalence to the Polish academic degree;
5. information on academic achievements, didactic experience and a list of publications - if applies;
6. documents confirming experience in academic teaching;
7. a statement that Szczecin University will be the candidate's main place of employment (form availableat website);
8. a candidate's consent for the processing of personal data by Szczecin University in the recruitment process (form availableat website).

The committee may request the candidate to present his/her qualifications in person.
