Lean & Production Excellence Specialist

Job summary

Vestas is seeking three experienced Lean Specialists to strengthen Production Excellence in Europe, with one position in Szczecin, Poland. You will work with factories to embed Lean, lead improvement initiatives and coach teams in structured problem solving.

A strong track record in manufacturing flow and NPI workstreams is required. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's/Master's in Engineering and Lean Six Sigma certification; experience in wind or similar complex industries is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience applying Lean and Production Excellence in manufacturing
• Solid Lean knowledge with practical factory experience
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification is preferred
• Wind, heavy engineering or complex manufacturing background is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Embed the Vestas Production System and Lean methodologies across manufacturing
• Lead Lean initiatives focused on flow, waste reduction and performance
• Coach lean practices with factories and engineering teams
• Manage cross-functional improvement projects and NPI workstreams
• Define material flow standards and support ramp-up of new products
• Support Lean assessments, KPI reviews and improvement plans
