Job summary

Velocity Clinical Research, Inc is seeking a Sub Investigator to oversee the clinical safety of patients in trials, collect and record accurate data, and support clinicians and coordinators throughout the study lifecycle.

The Sub Investigator provides essential clinical support to coordinators, principal investigators and other trials staff, ensuring wellbeing and interests of subjects are met while complying with protocols and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed MD, DO, NP, or PA.
• 5+ years of clinical management experience or equivalent in clinical research.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
• Up to 10% travel for project team meetings and conferences.

Responsibilities

• Lead a study team to execute clinical trials.
• Mentor staff in protocol requirements, communication, and trial management skills.
• Create training strategies and mitigation plans.
• Conduct and manage clinical trials in accordance with protocol, GCP, ICH and Velocity SOPs.
• Coordinate start up, vendor management, subject recruitment, regulatory documents, visits and data queries.
• Apply project management concepts to manage risk and improve quality in the conduct of trials.
• Ensure good documentation practices are applied and data is accurately captured.
