Sabre Polska Sp. z o.o. in Kraków is seeking a Manager, Software Systems Engineering to lead the Offer Construction domain within the Mosaic program.

You will drive design, delivery, and architectural decisions for cloud-native services powering airline offer creation and pricing across channels. The role requires proven leadership of distributed teams, strong Agile background, and expertise in Java/Kotlin, cloud platforms, and API-driven architectures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software engineering leadership and management.
• Experience leading distributed teams including vendors/contractors.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience delivering software in fast-paced Agile environments.
• Strong technical expertise in modern languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and microservices.
• Understanding of API-driven and event-driven, scalable systems.
• Familiarity with airline/travel or offer domain concepts (NDC/retailing preferred).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Fluent English, excellent communication, and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow software engineering teams including contractors.
• Drive design, development, and delivery of scalable software in Offer Construction.
• Own end-to-end delivery of features aligned with goals, timelines, and quality.
• Promote high coding standards, best practices, and modern engineering principles.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and stakeholders to define direction.
• Provide strategic and technical leadership in tool and design decisions.
• Manage team performance, provide feedback, and support career development.
• Address complex challenges tied to business objectives.
• Foster collaborative, high-performing culture across distributed and partner teams.
• Guide teams in adopting AI across products and the SDLC.
