Job summary

Sabre is seeking a Software Systems Developer with SRE capabilities to join the global Shopping & Pricing team in Kraków. You will build and operate scalable services, improve observability, and drive automation across code, infrastructure, and processes. Flexibility with hybrid work and a collaborative culture are offered.

You’ll bring production-grade software experience in Java/C++/Python, cloud and container tech, and strong troubleshooting skills to own design through production support.

Qualifications

• Production-grade software development experience in Java/C++/Python or similar.
• Cloud, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation experience.
• Distributed systems, APIs, databases, Linux, networking and performance knowledge.
• Observability tools: metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerting.
• Experience with applying AI concepts/tools to software development or operations.

What you'll do

• Build, enhance and maintain scalable applications and services using modern software engineering practices.
• Strengthen service reliability through observability, automation, performance tuning and effective incident response.
• Create tools and workflows that reduce manual effort and help engineering teams ship with greater confidence.
• Investigate production issues, identify root causes and drive lasting fixes across code, infrastructure and processes.
• Partner with teams across Sabre to shape technical direction, improve operational readiness and raise the bar for engineering quality.

What you’ll bring

• Professional experience developing production-grade software in Java, C++, Python or a comparable language.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, databases, Linux, networking and software performance.
• Experience with observability tools and practices, including metrics, logs, traces, dashboards and alerting.
• Experience with AI concepts, tools or services, with the ability to assess practical opportunities for applying AI to software development, automation and service operations.
• Collaborative engineering mindset, strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to take ownership from design through production support.
