Lead Senior Product Manager, BaseOS and System Health

Experience owning outcomes and decision making, solving ambiguous problems and influencing stakeholders; deep expertise in domain.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Product Managers that are in charge of stewarding overall System Health and BaseOS priorities, including areas like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
  • Define the outlook for the data team can best inform strategic leadership decision-making and ensure that the team has relevant information needed to prioritize optimizations and identify potential regressions.
  • Partner with Engineering teams, Data Scientists, and User Research to define and build features that are simple and speedy while navigating tradeoffs.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and peer product managers in other offices such as Krakow, Munich, San Jose, Boulder, Kirkland, Tokyo, and New York.
  • Define the outlook for device power, performance, and stability over near-term and long term. Establish a feature roadmap, intermediary milestones, and identifying technology investment opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • 3 years of people management experience with direct reports, and in technical leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • 3 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • Knowledge of, or continued interest in building accessibility best practices, and experience/curiosity for incorporating accessibility into product development methodologies.
