Global Life Science Hub is seeking a Lead Process Engineer to oversee an OSD manufacturing operation in Poland. You will lead a five-person team (three on-site, two remote), drive technology transfers from planning to implementation, and push continuous improvements across tablet/capsule processes.

The role emphasizes GMP compliance, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on engineering leadership to support scale-up and manufacturing excellence within a growing pharmaceutical organization.

Competenze

• 5+ years of pharmaceutical process engineering or MSAT experience.
• Expertise in oral solid dosage manufacturing (tablets/capsules).

Lead Process Engineer - Oral Solid Dosage (OSD)

About the Opportunity

Global Life Science Hub is partnering with an established pharmaceutical manufacturer in Poland to recruit an experienced Lead Process Engineer to oversee process engineering activities within its Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing operations.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a small engineering team, lead complex technology transfer projects and drive technical improvements across pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.

The organisation is undergoing significant expansion, with continued investment in manufacturing infrastructure, production capacity and technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of five Process Engineers (three on-site and two remote).


• Oversee technology transfer projects, managing technical activities from planning through to manufacturing implementation.


• Provide technical leadership across oral solid dosage manufacturing processes.


• Drive process optimisation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.


• Support manufacturing operations with technical investigations and process-related challenges.


• Coordinate cross-functional activities involving Production, Quality, Engineering and other technical departments.


• Manage project timelines, technical documentation and deliverables associated with technology transfers.


• Support process scale-up, manufacturing improvements and GMP compliance.

Requirements

• Approximately 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical process engineering, MSAT or a related technical manufacturing function.


• Strong technical background in oral solid dosage manufacturing, including tablets, capsules or similar products.


• Proven experience managing pharmaceutical technology transfer projects.


• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience, with the ability to manage and develop Process Engineers.


• Good understanding of GMP manufacturing environments.


• Strong technical problem-solving, project management and communication skills.


• Willingness to work fully on-site
