Job summary

OneOcean is seeking an experienced Development Team Leader (.NET) to guide a skilled software team in Poland. You will lead by example, drive engineering excellence, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable software aligned with business goals.

You will mentor engineers, promote best practices in coding, architecture and testing, plan team capacity and sprints, and collaborate with Architects, Product Owners and DevOps to optimise CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial software development experience.
• 3+ years leading Scrum teams with a solid grasp of Agile methodologies.
• Strong technical expertise in .NET and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with microservices, distributed architecture, GraphQL, REST APIs, event buses, and message queues.
• Solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Good understanding of client-server architecture and asynchronous programming.
• Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD), unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL (MS SQL Server, MongoDB), Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

• Mentor and coach team members to support their technical and professional growth.
• Drive engineering excellence by promoting best practices in coding, architecture, and testing.

• Collaborate with other Team Leaders, Development Managers, Architects, and Product Owners to align engineering execution with business objectives.
• Ensure effective adoption and execution of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) within the team.
• Contribute to the evolution of development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
