Optiveum is seeking a Lead Integration Engineer in Warsaw, Poland, offering a hybrid, full-time role with a strong emphasis on API-first integration leadership. You will design scalable integration architectures, drive event-driven patterns with Kafka, and lead platform initiatives using Terraform and AKS, while shaping governance and standards across R&D systems.

The role requires deep experience in Python, REST APIs, and distributed systems, with English proficiency and a based-in-Poland

Formación

• 15+ years of software engineering experience.
• Educational background in Computer Science, Software Development or Engineering.
• Fluent English.
• Based in Poland.
• Proficient in Python / FastAPI.
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Kubernetes (Azure Kubernetes Service).
• Infra as Code using Terraform.
• Azure Platform Services experience.
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Distributed systems design.
• SDLC best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design and lead API-first architectures and integration patterns.
• Build reusable integration capabilities and governance for contracts and schemas.
• Drive platform engineering: IaC (Terraform), AKS, CI/CD, observability and deployment automation.
• Mentor engineers and steer technology modernization and roadmap execution.
• Ensure alignment with security and enterprise standards.
