Job summary

Ramboll in Poland is seeking an experienced Primary Circuits Designer to contribute to large-scale European infrastructure projects and the green transition. The role focuses on developing HV Substations services to higher technical levels, with responsibilities spanning specifications, calculations, BOM, and building design.

You will work within a team of power system engineers delivering solutions for DSOs/TSOs and renewable developers, with opportunities to influence strategy and leverage BIM

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Expert knowledge on Primary Circuits of HV Substations.
• Knowledge on 3D Modelling and BIM Methodology.
• Strong stakeholder management and networking skills.
• Comfort with taking responsibility and making decisions with clients.
• Driven to contribute to the green energy transition.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering specifications and technical documentation for Primary Circuits of AIS and GIS Substations up to 420 kV.
• Prepare necessary calculations (earthing, lightning protection, etc.).
• Prepare Bill of Materials and Bill of Quantities.
• Prepare Building Design and Detailed Design (including Building Permit).
• Drive multidisciplinary cooperation and coordination.
• Drive technical reviews and agreements with Clients and Suppliers.
• Provide consulting services and advice to Clients and Customers.
