Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead HPC Kubernetes Engineer to architect and operate giant multi-cloud Kubernetes platforms (AWS, GCP, CoreWeave, OCI) powering thousands of GPUs. You will own cluster lifecycle, node pools, networking, upgrades, and ensure SLIs/SLOs while coordinating with AI/ML, Security, Networking teams.

You will build CI/CD pipelines to provision HPC infra, implement monitoring, and drive reliability during rapid growth, with remote-friendly options in Poland.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure engineering, cloud platforms or HPC.
• Hands-on Kubernetes operations at large scale, including upgrades and node pools.
• Terraform IaC daily use; strong scripting with Python.

Responsibilities

• Operate Kubernetes platforms (EKS, GKE, CKS) at scale across providers.
• Own cluster lifecycle, node pools, networking policy and stability.
• Provision HPC infra via CI/CD across AWS, GCP, OCI; manage GPU scheduling.
• Define and maintain SLIs/SLOs; build monitoring and alerts.

Job description

We are seeking a Lead HPC Kubernetes Engineer to help our customer develop and manage several HPC clusters across AWS, CoreWeave, GCP, and other providers, spanning several thousand GPUs today and scaling to 10x in 2026 and beyond.
