Job summary

HeadHR is seeking a senior Go engineer with leadership experience to design and evolve scalable distributed systems. The role involves converting business goals into technical roadmaps, mentoring engineers, and refining CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate with product teams and external stakeholders to ensure high performance and reliability. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Go, 2+ years in leadership, and strong system design skills, with fintech domain exposure and AI integration

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Go development experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Higher education in Computer Science or related.
• Extensive experience with AI in a team setting.
• Experience in fintech/banking domains and complex integrations.
• Golang design of scalable distributed backends.
• Concurrency patterns in Go (goroutines, channels, sync primitives).
• System design for high performance and maintainability.
• CI/CD pipelines with modern tools.
• English level Advanced or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve scalable distributed systems in Go, choosing concurrency models for performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to translate business goals into technical plans and roadmaps.
• Anticipate edge cases, risks, and constraints early in planning to avoid issues.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and evolving scalable distributed systems in Go, choosing appropriate concurrency models and ensuring a balance between performance and maintainability.
• Collaborating with Product Managers to refine high-level business goals into actionable technical plans and delivery roadmaps.
• Anticipating and highlighting edge cases, risks, and technical constraints early in the planning phase to avoid issues during implementation.
• Representing the engineering team in meetings with external stakeholders, explaining technical topics in clear, business-centric terms and challenging unrealistic requirements.
• Leading and performing code reviews for other senior engineers, ensuring high standards for code quality, resilience, and reliability.
• Driving improvements in CI/CD pipelines and engineering processes, helping the team ship high-quality code faster and safely.
