Grid Dynamics seeks a Lead AI Engineer in Kraków to drive generative AI and agentic AI initiatives, architect scalable AI systems, mentor teams, and partner with stakeholders to deliver production-grade solutions from concept to deployment.

The role blends hands-on technical leadership with strategic vision, requiring 5+ years in production AI, 2+ years leading teams, strong Python, and cloud experience. Excellent English communication is essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of production AI/ML experience.
2+ years leading teams in Agile environments.
Advanced Python proficiency across AI/ML, web services, and data engineering.
Deep LLM & GenAI mastery, including prompts, RAG, guardrails, and evaluation.
Experience with major cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) and ML services.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end AI system architecture while staying hands-on with implementation.
Set technical direction and mentor engineers across the team.
Collaborate with business and product stakeholders to align tech strategy with goals.
Deliver enterprise AI/ML solutions from POC to production with reliability and scale.
Track AI trends and integrate Agentic AI and guardrails pragmatically.
