Job summary

DataArt Poland sp. z o.o. is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer in Warsaw to guide hybrid AWS-based and on-premise infrastructure. You will drive best practices, design scalable systems, and automate provisioning with Terraform while fostering a culture of strong DevOps in a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes leadership, cloud design, CI/CD excellence, and deep hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and monitoring tools in production.

Qualifications

• Minimum leadership experience in DevOps or infrastructure roles.
• At least 2 years in a lead position.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based design.
• Extensive Docker and Kubernetes production experience.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform.
• Experience with Helm for Kubernetes deployments.
• Solid CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance.
• Experience with monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch.
• Strong Linux administration and Bash scripting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

• Ensure the reliability, performance, security, and scalability of the platform.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and production issues.
• Collaborate closely with management, development and engineering teams to improve deployment processes and operational efficiency.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other DevOps engineers.

Your responsibilities

Our requirements

• Extensive experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering roles, including experience in a technical leadership capacity.
• At least 2 years as a Lead.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and designing cloud-based infrastructure.
• Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
• Experience with Helm for managing Kubernetes applications.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch.
• Strong Linux administration and Bash scripting skills.
• Experience working with Git and modern software development workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
