X-FLOW in Warsaw is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to drive ML for advertising monetization and personalization while mentoring the Data Science team. The role collaborates with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Ad Monetization to shape high-impact ML initiatives.

The candidate will build models for ad targeting, ranking, pricing, and revenue prediction; enhance recommendations to boost engagement and lifetime value; and translate business goals into measurable ML solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Science, preferably consumer mobile products.
• Experience with advertising monetization, revenue optimization, or advertising analytics.
• Strong experience building recommendation, personalization, or ranking systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on with ML models: classification, regression, ranking, forecasting.
• Strong understanding of experimentation methodology and statistics.
• Experience with large-scale behavioral datasets.
• Experience leading Data Scientists and driving initiatives.
• Ability to translate business goals into ML solutions with measurable impact.
• Native Russian language.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Science initiatives focused on advertising monetization and revenue optimization.
• Develop ML models for ad targeting, ranking, pricing, and revenue prediction.
• Improve recommendation and personalization systems to boost engagement and lifetime value.
• Analyze user behavior and advertising performance to identify growth opportunities.
• Design, analyze, and interpret A/B tests and experiments.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineers, and Analysts to define roadmap.
• Mentor Data Scientists through guidance and code reviews.
• Drive adoption of scalable ML solutions and ensure high-quality experimentation.
• Present insights and technical solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
