Job summary

Sii Poland is hiring a Lead Data Analyst (Power BI) to bridge business and technology. You will lead client discussions, translate goals into dashboards, and support a Data Governance framework using Power BI.

You will mentor the Power BI team, collaborate with DWH architects and data engineers, and help shape data-driven offerings for the Data & Analytics Center in Poland.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience creating and developing Power BI analytics and data work.
• Experience as Tech Lead / Senior Consultant or equivalent leadership role.
• Knowledge of Data Governance, semantic modeling, and best reporting practices.
• Hands-on with DWH architecture, Data Lakehouse, cloud solutions and Microsoft Fabric.

Join our Data & Analytics Competency Center and co-create modern analytical solutions based on Microsoft Power BI.

As a Lead Data Analyst (Power BI), you will bridge the world of business and technology – leading discussions with clients, translating business needs into analytical solutions, and supporting organizations in building a Data-Driven culture.

You will develop reporting standards and Data Governance, support the Power BI analyst team, and collaborate with DWH architects and data engineers in designing modern data platforms.

Your tasks

• Collaboration with business stakeholders
• Conducting workshops, analyzing requirements, and translating business goals into analytical solutions and Power BI dashboards
• Defining reporting standards and best practices in the area of Power BI and Data Governance
• Collaborating with data developers (ETL), data architects, and DevOps/FinOps in designing and implementing solutions based on Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
• Taking on the role of team leader – mentoring, developing competencies, and providing substantive support to analysts
• Overseeing the quality, consistency, and usability of delivered analytical solutions
• Tracking market trends in the field of analytics
• Co-creating and developing the offerings of the Data & Analytics Center
• Representing the organization at industry conferences and actively participating in market events

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in creating and developing Power BI analytics and working with data
• Previous work in the role of Tech Lead / Lead Developer / Senior Consultant
• Knowledge of Data Governance principles, semantic modeling, and best reporting practices
• Practical knowledge of DWH architecture, Data Lakehouse, cloud solutions, and the Microsoft Fabric platform, supported by active participation in implementations or production projects
• Advanced knowledge of tools: SQL, Python, DAX
• Commercial experience with Microsoft Fabric gained during implementation or development projects (experience in designing architecture and recommending the use of specific platform components is a plus)
• Experience in project work with clients (gathering requirements, consulting, presentations)
• Ability to make technology decisions and take responsibility for them
• High communication and consulting skills
• Experience in the presales process (preparing concepts, supporting bidding, estimations)
• Ability to identify market trends in the field of data analytics and their practical application in building offerings and solutions for clients
• Fluent communication in Polish and English

Nice to have

• Activity in the industry community (participation in conferences, meetups, market tracking)
• Utilization of AI in automating analytics
• Knowledge of MS Fabric IQ and/or Copilot Studio
