Job summary

Jacobs Poland is seeking a Lead Bridge Designer to support growth in our bridge engineering team. You will lead multi-disciplinary projects, deliver design documentation, and coordinate with global technology leaders to ensure high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Chartered Engineer with professional body.
• Very good command of English.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary projects.
• Experience in Bridges design, analysis, inspection and reports.
• Good presentation skills.
• Well-organized team player with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor less experienced staff.
• Use relevant Structural/Bridges design software.
• Develop networks with global technology leaders for Bridges.
• Ensure that quality control plans are followed, incorporating health and safety into design.
• Deliver bridges design, project documents including reports and contract documents for various design stages (feasibility studies, tenders, detailed designs).
• Managing your own Bridges projects and liaising with other project managers.
• Tracking of project programs and delivery dates.
• Undertaking technical reviews and checking.
• Liaising with contractors and clients, both external and internal.
• Assistance to others with bidding (technical).
• Deliver projects in English.
