Job summary

SimCorp is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to build an internal AI agent that supports the SDLC for a global fintech audience. You will combine deep .NET expertise with AI-agent engineering, mentoring, and architectural ownership across international teams.

You will design secure integrations, evolve the agent runtime, and ensure reliable operations in a production Azure environment, while guiding engineers and contributing to cross-team knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s in CS/Engineering/Math or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering with C#/.NET backend.
• Strong distributed-systems judgment and state recovery.
• Experience building AI/LLM apps beyond prompts and tool calls.
• Experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, and operation of the AI agent product.
• Evolve the AI-agent runtime: planning, tool usage, context management, state recovery.
• Design secure, resilient integrations with engineering tools and platforms.
• Maintain and extend the Blazor frontend used by engineers.
• Own production reliability on Azure, testing, and incident response.
