Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Kubernetes Platform Engineer to join our team in Wroclaw in a hybrid working model. The role designs, builds, automates, and operates container platforms and API infrastructure across cloud and on‑prem environments.

You will manage Amazon EKS and OpenShift clusters, focusing on reliability, security, automation, and cost efficiency, empowering teams to deploy workloads quickly and securely using Terraform, ArgoCD, Helm, and GitHub Actions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Kubernetes, Platform Engineering, SRE or DevOps.
• Hands-on production experience with Amazon EKS and/or OpenShift.
• Strong experience with Terraform and GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Helm).
• Solid AWS knowledge (IAM, VPC, LB, EC2).
• Linux, networking and container fundamentals essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Kubernetes platforms on Amazon EKS and OpenShift across dev, test, and prod.
• Manage IaC with Terraform, reusable modules, and automated plan/apply pipelines.
• Manage platform components using GitOps with ArgoCD and Helm, including internal Helm charts.
• Manage and optimize node provisioning and autoscaling with Karpenter.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation with GitHub Actions.
