Job summary

Sii Poland is hiring a Backend Kotlin Developer to join a fintech platform that supports company expense management. You will design, build, and maintain microservices and collaborate with cross-functional teams across Platform, Services, SMB, and other domains.

The role focuses on performance, reliability, and scale, with responsibilities in code reviews and improving system architecture. You will work with AWS, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, JUnit, and Grafana, and you must communicate in English

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
Hands-on Kotlin experience in commercial projects.
Experience building backend systems with microservices; English proficiency; Poland residency.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain microservices using Kotlin.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Platform, Services, SMB, and other domains.
Support performance monitoring and contribute to reliability improvements.
Participate in code reviews and ensure high code quality.
Contribute to system architecture improvements.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
