Job summary

Amentum seeks a Border Security Advisor in Pristina, Kosovo to work with the Kosovo Police border units and Kosovo Customs, strengthening interdiction capabilities through targeted training and mentorship across agencies.

The advisor will act as SME and coordinator for border security implementation, develop SOPs, ensure QA of intelligence and case files, and lead train-the-trainer activities to institutionalize improved workflows in line with ICITAP and INL standards.

Qualifications

• Ten years of U.S. border security experience and understanding of border security strategies.
• Proven ability to assess, evaluate, and communicate staffing, policy, training, and equipment needs.
• Experience as a supervisor, manager, or task force leader in a federal, state, or local agency.

Responsibilities

• Engage with border security foreign assistance programs and provide advisory support.
• Deliver ongoing mentorship and ad hoc training to Kosovo Police and stakeholders.
• Develop SOPs, templates, checklists, and train-the-trainer programs.
• Coordinate with ICITAP and INL to align Kosovo units with U.S. standards.
• Draft reports on engagements and data results; ensure secure information handling.
