Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Typically 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• Typically 3 years in a technical leadership role, with 2 years in people management.

Responsibilities

• Lead team in software planning and development of kernel platform and device drivers.
• Own and deliver core platform drivers and features in areas such as PCIE, I2C/I3C, UART, SPI, PWM, GPIO, interrupts.
• Collaborate with Android Common Kernel and upstream Linux.
• Participate in bring-up of new Pixel devices from SoC development boards to prototyping to mass production.
• Design and implement software solutions for new SoC features including interconnect, boot, memory, IO, interrupt controller, and security.
