Job summary

ROCKWOOL is seeking a Banking & Treasury Junior Accountant to join the Poznań office on a 1-year fixed-term contract. You will handle bank statement processing, payments, cash management, and assist audits while supporting cashflow forecasting at the entity level.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field, solid accounting knowledge, and, ideally, SAP FI familiarity. Office-based position with benefits and development opportunities in a dynamic finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Economics or related field is required.
• Solid accounting knowledge expected; SAP FI familiarity is a plus.
• Intermediate English; strong MS Office skills (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Analytical mindset and proactive communication encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Process bank statements accurately and timely.
• Process automatic and manual payments; identify errors.
• Reconcile SAP balances with bank statements; clear accounts.
• Support cash management structures and input into cashflow forecasting.
• Prepare basic local audit files and assist audits (internal/external).
• Suggest improvements to processes/workloads and cost reductions.
• Act as a backup and support team members in month-end close tasks.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and external legislation.
