Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Łódź, Poland is looking for a Junior Software Test Engineer to join a team focused on high-quality software solutions. In this role, you will work with experienced developers and QA engineers on testing processes for critical business systems, utilizing C# and modern testing practices.

Ideal candidates will have a basic knowledge of programming and an understanding of software testing principles. We encourage applications even if not all requirements are met!

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of programming, preferably in C#.
• Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with test automation concepts.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and spoken communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using C# and MSTest.
• Support manual testing activities when needed.
• Create and execute test scenarios based on functional and technical requirements.
• Analyze test results and help identify, isolate, and report defects.
• Report and track issues using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owner, and other team members.
