Job summary

TMF Group in Katowice is seeking a Junior Tax Compliance Officer to join our Tax Team. This role focuses on Luxembourg tax compliance for clients, including preparing returns and ensuring timely filings while supporting internal teams.

You will work in a hybrid model from Poland, with occasional office presence in Katowice or Warsaw, and join a dynamic international environment that values accuracy and initiative.

Qualifications

• Bacheloregree in accounting, finance or tax required.
• Good understanding of accounting environment is necessary.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication required; German or French an advantage.
• Proficient IT skills including MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of diverse tax records and follow-up on filing deadlines for Luxembourg taxation for client companies.
• Ensure timely completion of work with required quality.
• Participate in internal and external trainings as needed.
• Assist client servicing teams with Direct Tax matters in daily work.
• Support Tax Manager on Direct Tax compliance initiatives and Luxembourg tax returns.

We are seeking Junior Tax Compliance Officer to join our Tax Team.

You can work in hybrid model from Poland ( one visit per week from office in Katowice or Warsaw is required).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintenance of diverse tax records and the follow up on filing deadlines related to Luxembourg taxation for clients ‘companies;
• Ensure the preparation of the work on time with the required level of quality;
• Preparation and participation to internal and/or external trainings;
• Assist the client servicing units/teams with Direct Tax matters in their everyday work;
• Support Tax Manager in all the actual and new specific Direct Tax Compliance initiatives
• Preparation of Luxembourg corporate tax returns, calculation of tax provisions and review of tax assessment

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor’s degree (or University degree) in accounting, finance or tax with interest to learn and develop continually;
2. Good understanding of accounting and legal environment is necessary;
3. Excellent English written and verbal communication is required. Knowledge of German or French would be an advantage
4. Good IT skills and excellent command of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) are necessary;
5. From 1 to 2 years’ experience in corporate tax compliance;
6. You are analytical, eager to learn and motivated by challenge;
7. Flexible and open minded in work approach and display a positive and enthusiastic attitude;
8. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize;
9. Ability to solve problems and work independently as team member.
10. Remote working possible, with physical presence in office required on a recurrent basis
