Job summary

Motorola Solutions Systems Polska Sp.z.o.o is seeking a junior SOX/Controls professional to join our Finance Operations Center in Poland. The role involves conducting SOX control testing across regions, identifying control gaps, and collaborating with business partners and external auditors.

The ideal candidate has up to 1 year of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, with strong English and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• Up to 1 year of relevant experience (including internships).
• Bachelor degree in Accounting/Audit/Controlling/Finance or related studies.
• Excellent English – verbal and written communication skills required.
• Tech-savvy with advanced computer skills.
• General understanding of financial statements and accounting rules.

Responsibilities

• Conduct SOX control testing across regions to identify control gaps and provide recommendations to mitigate operational, financial, and compliance risk.
• Identify, track and elevate issues detected during the control review process.
• Support improvement of existing processes to increase productivity in terms of number, quality and design of controls.
• Prepare SOX testing documentation to support the result of controls' assessment.
• Manage and resolve day-to-day issues related to internal controls with business partners.
• Develop process flow charts and narratives with reference to control points for significant processes and related systems.
• Cooperate with external auditors.

Department Overview

Motorola Solutions Finance Operations Center (FOC) provides world-class finance & accounting services to Motorola branches in Europe, Middle East, Africa, US and Latin America region. SOX and internal controls team is a part of Global Internal Audit Department and is in charge of auditing key controls over over financial reporting for material entities and processes

Job Description
