Job summary

Sabre Polska Sp. z o.o. in Kraków is looking for a Junior Engineer to join CIAM-focused backend teams, responsible for authentication, authorization and identity management across Sabre customers.

You will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, gain ownership of code, work with Java 21, Spring Boot, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, and leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity.

Qualifications

• Must have: Experience with Java (Java 17/21 preferred)
• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native development (or similar Cloud Solutions)
• Experience with microservices architecture and REST APIs
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Maven, Git)
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito, Spock)
• Good self-organization skills and ownership mindset
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal

Who are we?

The Customer Identity and Access Solutions (CIAS) engineering team is looking for a Junior Engineer. Our scrum teams in Kraków are responsible for developing and maintaining applications that handle Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) for Sabre’s customers across all Business Units. We deliver services and third-party products focused on user authentication, authorization, and customer identity management. Our applications are critical to the company, so stability, security, and scalability are particularly important to us.

What will you do?

In our day-to-day work, we leverage modern technologies including Java 21, Spring Boot, cloud-native architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions). We are continuously evolving our identity platform and authentication solutions, and you will have the opportunity to influence how we manage identity and access at scale. We also actively adopt AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Gemini) to improve engineering productivity, code quality, and developer experience.

Job requirements
