ABOUT THE ROLE

At NielsenIQ, it is important for us to be connected in many ways. As part of the Global Payroll Center of Excellence, the Junior Payroll Analyst will play a critical role in delivering Payroll Services across our Eastern Europe Region. This incumbent will work cross-functionally with HR and other internal and external Stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely salaries of associates in Poland, whilst also identifying and executing continuous improvements to processes. The role reports directly to the Regional Payroll Manager/Cluster Leader and will support our Payroll function at NielsenIQ.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Monthly Payroll processing activities, ensure pay is processed on time, accurately, completely and in compliance with all regulations.

· Deliver all year end payroll processes.

· Identify and recommend, process improvements to the current payroll process and systems.

· Ensure all SOX compliant controls relevant to the payroll process are executed

· Support with internal and external audit and tax-related activities, including preparation of data and evidence as required

· Support with Finance and HR queries

· Build positive relationships to ensure successful collaborations to be able to respond to internal payroll questions, and handle ad-hoc payroll requests.

· Support with payroll and ad hoc reports as required


QUALIFICATION

· Minimum of 1-2 years of payroll operational experience in Polish payroll

-Polish and English skills

· Additional experience in processing payrolls in Eastern Europe highly desirable

· Attention to detail, professional awareness, and sense of urgency for employee questions; be able to spot errors or exceptions quickly.

· Strong experience with Microsoft Office.

· Excellent communicator and collaborator.

· SAP / Workday / Alight vendor experience a plus.

· Platnik program knowledge will be a big plus
