What the day will look like

As a Junior Market Security Analyst, you will support the evaluation of insurance and reinsurance companies by reviewing financial information, analyzing performance, and contributing to market security assessments. You will work closely with brokers, insurers, rating agencies, and experienced analysts while building your expertise in financial and credit analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing financial statements and other relevant market information.
• Communicating with brokers, credit assessors, and insurance companies to acquire and validate data.
• Supporting the calculation and analysis of financial performance indicators and security metrics.
• Interpreting rating agency methodologies, scales, and symbols.
• Preparing reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior stakeholders and analyst committees.
• Monitoring market developments and contributing to assessments across different geographical regions and insurance sectors, including property & casualty, life & health, insurance, and reinsurance.
