Job summary

Aon is seeking a Junior Market Security Analyst to join our global team in Kraków. This hybrid role combines office collaboration with flexible virtual work to fit local smart working policies.

You will support the evaluation of insurance and reinsurance companies by reviewing financial information, analyzing performance, and contributing to market security assessments, while interacting with brokers, rating agencies, and senior analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to analyze financial statements.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings clearly.
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing financial statements and other relevant market information.
• Communicating with brokers, credit assessors, and insurance companies to acquire and validate data.
• Supporting the calculation and analysis of financial performance indicators and security metrics.
• Interpreting rating agency methodologies, scales, and symbols.
• Preparing reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior stakeholders and analyst committees.
• Monitoring market developments and contributing to assessments across different geographical regions and insurance sectors, including property & casualty, life & health, insurance, and reinsurance.

What the day will look like

As a Junior Market Security Analyst, you will support the evaluation of insurance and reinsurance companies by reviewing financial information, analyzing performance, and contributing to market security assessments. You will work closely with brokers, insurers, rating agencies, and experienced analysts while building your expertise in financial and credit analysis.
