Qualifications

• 1+ years of Java development experience.
• Experience with SQL and unit testing.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and CI.
• Understanding of security practices and data modeling.
• Strong English communication (B2) with client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product managers to build and maintain scalable, high-performance platforms.
• Communicate directly with clients to collect and analyze their needs.
• Create necessary documentation, including PRDs, test cases, and design docs.
• Work independently as the sole developer on an app from idea to ready product when required.
• Deliver quality work on time while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Apply cloud technologies and microservices architecture principles to project development.
• Question the status quo and seek individual mastery while working with autonomy.
• Contribute to a culture of purpose, transparency, and trust within the team.
• Approach problems by identifying root causes rather than jumping directly into solution mode.

• Communicate directly with clients to collect and analyze their needs
• Create necessary documentation, including PRDs, test cases, and design docs

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience with Java, SQL, and unit testing
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures, continuous integration, and Google Cloud Platform
• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Understanding of application security
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Excellent English communication skills (B2 level) with experience in client-facing communications
• Strong self-management and prioritization skills
• Capability to work in an agile environment without direct supervision
• Understanding of information management, data modeling, system integration, and development methodologies
• Nice to have Familiarity with Google Cloud Spanner
• Knowledge of gRPC
