Motorola Solutions Systems Polska Sp.z.o.o in Krakow, Poland is seeking a software engineer with 1+ years of Java development experience to help extend a mission-critical platform. You will work on microservices, REST APIs, and DevOps practices in a dynamic team.

Join a tech stack including Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services. Expected to collaborate with international teams and contribute to 24/7 support and continuous delivery.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Java development experience.
• Foundational understanding of microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Basic familiarity with Docker and Git version control.
• English skills (B2) for daily technical collaboration.
• Understanding of Java fundamentals and OOP.
• Basic hands-on experience with Docker (creating, building, and running containers).
• Basic understanding of HTTP/REST protocols.
• Eager to learn CI/CD pipelines and modern Cloud infrastructure under mentorship.

Basic Requirements

1. 1+ years of commercial experience in Java development
2. Foundational understanding of microservices and RESTful APIs
3. Basic familiarity with containerization (Docker) and Git version control
4. English skills (B2) allowing for daily technical collaboration with international teammates
5. Understanding of Java fundamentals and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
6. Basic hands-on experience with Docker (creating, building, and running containers)
7. Basic understanding of HTTP / REST protocols
8. Eagerness to learn CI/CD pipelines and modern Cloud infrastructure under the guidance of a mentor

Nice to have

• Basic exposure to Kubernetes, Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), or Linux environments
• Interest in Infrastructure as Code concepts (Ansible, Terraform)
• Curiosity about message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka) or real-time streaming (WebRTC, SIP)
• Academic or personal projects demonstrating an interest in automation and DevOps tooling
