EPAM Systems in Kraków is seeking a Junior Java Developer to join an international team building critical infrastructure software. You will work on features and maintain code quality, collaborating across the full development lifecycle and interacting daily with the client to align on requirements.

The role offers a hybrid model with three days a week in the client offices in Kraków, Gdańsk, or Wrocław. A strong English communication skillset and a proactive mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with full software lifecycle (analyze, design, implement, build, test, support).
• 1+ years hands-on with Java.
• Strong knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, and SQL.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience developing and integrating software through the full system implementation lifecycle (analyze, design, implement, build, test, support)
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with Java
• Solid knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, and SQL
• Strong self-management and prioritization skills
• A proactive, self-starter mindset with a focus on quality and timely delivery
• Excellent English communication skills and confidence in client-facing interactions (you’ll be speaking with stakeholders directly!)

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Familiarity with TypeScript
• Knowledge of Guice and Protocol Buffers
