Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. in Kraków is hiring a Junior Fund Accountant. The role involves processing transactions, verifying data, and ensuring timely output while maintaining department standards.

You will manage daily production reporting, follow up on inquiries, and interact with other BBH departments to resolve issues. The candidate should hold a BA/BS in Finance and Accounting (or equivalent), be fluent in English (C1), and demonstrate strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions and verify information

Join us as a Junior Fund Accountant!

• Processing transactions, verifying information, escalating problem items
• Ensuring daily output maintains department/team standards for quality and timeliness
• Ensuring deadlines and/or requirements are being met
• Managing daily production reporting
• Following up on open inquiries
• Interacting with other BBH departments on resolution of issues
• Contributing to Management Reporting (ie: Clarity, PVC’s, past dues, cash breaks, R and A analysis)
• Understanding of the big picture of how specific function impacts the firm
• Gaining efficiencies to improve productivity
• Managing multiple tasks and/or projects efficiently despite resource and time constraints

What we’re looking for:

• BA/BS degree (Finance and Accounting) or equivalent work experience (as Accountant) is a must
• Fluency in English (C1)
• Demonstrated Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to identify, elevate and resolve a problem
• Ability to communicate professionally through effective verbal and written skills
• Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively
• Organizational skills and detail-oriented
• Ability to work in a team environment
