Job summary

Cisco Kraków is seeking a Software Engineer to develop software aligned with Design Thinking and UX focus, using secure coding practices and strong privacy. You will partner with design and product management to deliver the right solutions and create technical design documentation used by the team and end users.

You will debug issues in development and production, contribute to code reviews, write tests, and help improve software development processes while applying agile engineering practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with related experience or a Master's degree with no required experience.
• Experience with software development lifecycles and best practices.
• Knowledge of secure coding principles and privacy considerations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to solutions for straightforward business problems using standard procedures.
• Collaborate with own team and other teams on projects and small-to-medium features.
• Apply agile engineering practices in own projects across design, coding, and testing.
• Write clean code and unit tests, and perform troubleshooting throughout development.
• Participate in code reviews and triage incidents, improving processes.
