Job summary

Arche Consulting in Kraków is seeking a Finance Analyst with ~2 years of experience to support P&L reviews, variance analysis and forecasting. You will work with Finance Business Partners and stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights.

You'll enhance financial reporting processes, perform ad hoc analyses and contribute to budgeting, planning and CAPEX review in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2 years of experience in finance or a related analytical role.
• Solid understanding of financial accounting, reporting and P&L.
• Experience with variance analysis and cost drivers.
• Knowledge of accruals and impact on forecasts.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting or management reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and SAP experience.
• Nice to have Anaplan, Power BI or Power Query.
• Excellent English, both spoken and written.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working under tight deadlines in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyse monthly P&L results, identifying key trends, cost drivers and variances against budget and forecast.
• Investigate financial discrepancies, explain the underlying causes and provide clear, actionable recommendations to Finance Business Partners and business stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes, including the preparation and validation of financial inputs.
• Perform financial modelling and scenario analysis to assess business cases, project performance, investment decisions and potential cost‑saving opportunities.
• Review project portfolios and expenditure, monitoring budget utilisation, financial risks, opportunities and mitigation measures.
• Analyse accruals and forecast costs, ensuring financial estimates are reasonable, accurate and supported by business assumptions.
• Support financial decisions relating to third‑party contracts by assessing alternative scenarios, contract terms and potential savings.
• Prepare and maintain capital expenditure (CAPEX) cash forecasts, monitoring planned versus actual spending and identifying emerging trends.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and respond to changing business needs.
• Develop and improve financial reporting processes, analytical methodologies and the quality of management information.
• Collaborate with Finance Business Partners, controllers and other stakeholders to explain financial results, challenge assumptions constructively and support continuous improvement.
• Provide financial information and supporting documentation for external audit requirements when needed.
