Job summary

Euroclear is hiring an Ops Engineer to support development teams and coordinate applications across on‑premise and cloud infrastructure. You will own deliveries covering Windows, Linux, networking, MQ, domain controllers, Azure services and databases.

The role requires 3–4 years in IT infrastructure, strong Azure/Red Hat/Windows expertise, and experience with Terraform, ITIL and Scrum. Hybrid work, international environment and a focus on secure, scalable infrastructure are offered.

Qualifications

• BA or MA degree is required.
• Experience in IT infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Red Hat Linux and/or Windows OS.
• Experience with networks, SQL, Oracle, AD/ADFS, identity management, Terraform.
• Knowledge of ITIL and Scrum; focus on secure infrastructure.
• Understanding of CI principles.

Job Description

• Endorse the role of Ops Engineer supporting Development teams
• Ensure business applications are optimally coordinated on Euroclear infrastructure (on premise and on cloud) by designing and implementing solutions that meet application requirements, security and infrastructure requirements and standards
• You will take full ownership of your deliveries that cover a very broad set of technologies like Windows, Linux, Network (DNS, Load Balancers, Firewall,…), MQ, Domain Controller, Azure services, SQL, Oracle,….

Requirements:

• BA or MA degree
• 3 to 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure
• A very good expertise and knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Red Hat Linux and/or Windows Operating Systems as well of VMware ESX solutions
• Experience in multiple technologies like Network configuration (DNS, routing & netting, firewall, load balancing), SQL, Oracle, Active Directory, ADFS, Identity management, Terraform
• ITIL and Scrum knowledge and you know the key principles to make an application infrastructure secure.
• A good understanding of Continuous Integration principles
• Good communication skills, a positive attitude and a competitive, but team-oriented focus are key elements to be successful in this challenging environment
• Able to demonstrate your ability to learn ICT technologies
• Able to easily adapt to new circumstances / technologies / procedures
• Stress resistant and constructive whatever the context
• Ready to deal with impediments in autonomy
