Job summary

Euroclear is seeking an Ops Engineer to support Development teams and ensure applications run efficiently on Euroclear infrastructure, both on premise and in the cloud. You will design, implement and own solutions that meet application and security requirements, across a broad tech stack.

The role requires 3–4 years in IT infrastructure, strong Azure/Windows/Linux experience, and familiarity with networks, DNS, and identity management.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure and Linux/Windows systems.
• Experience with networks, DNS, firewalls and load balancers.

Responsibilities

• Support Development teams as an Ops Engineer.
• Coordinate business applications on Euroclear infrastructure (on premise and cloud) meeting requirements and standards.
• Own deliveries across Windows, Linux, network, and database services (Azure, SQL, Oracle).

Job Description

• Endorse the role of Ops Engineer supporting Development teams
• Ensure business applications are optimally coordinated on Euroclear infrastructure (on premise and on cloud) by designing and implementing solutions that meet application requirements, security and infrastructure requirements and standards
• You will take full ownership of your deliveries that cover a very broad set of technologies like Windows, Linux, Network (DNS, Load Balancers, Firewall,…), MQ, Domain Controller, Azure services, SQL, Oracle,….

Requirements:

• BA or MA degree
• 3 to 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure
• A very good expertise and knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Red Hat Linux and/or Windows Operating Systems as well of VMware ESX solutions
• Experience in multiple technologies like Network configuration (DNS, routing & netting, firewall, load balancing), SQL, Oracle, Active Directory, ADFS, Identity management, Terraform
• ITIL and Scrum knowledge and you know the key principles to make an application infrastructure secure.
• A good understanding of Continuous Integration principles
• Good communication skills, a positive attitude and a competitive, but team-oriented focus are key elements to be successful in this challenging environment
• Able to demonstrate your ability to learn ICT technologies
• Able to easily adapt to new circumstances / technologies / procedures
• Stress resistant and constructive whatever the context
• Ready to deal with impediments in autonomy
• Able to follow existing standards and acting with attention to detail
• A true great teammate who demonstrates good interpersonal skills
• Able to summarize sophisticated technical situations in simple terms
