Job summary

Lipton Teas and Infusions is seeking a motivated Junior Databricks Applications Developer to join our Data & AI team in Katowice. You will work with modern technologies, including Node.js, to build data-driven applications that empower business users.

This is an early-career opportunity to gain hands-on experience with data platforms, backend development, and cloud technologies while collaborating with senior engineers and analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years in software development or data-related roles.
• Basic knowledge of Node.js (Express or similar frameworks).
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git or version control systems.
• Strong willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of data-driven applications within Databricks Apps.
• Assist in building and maintaining backend services.
• Work with Databricks SQL and datasets to retrieve and process data.
• Collaborate with senior developers, data engineers, and analysts.
• Help optimize queries and application performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting applications.
• Learn and follow best practices in security, data access, and development workflows.
