Job description

We are seeking a new team member who is passionate about data, analytics and IT solutions, and eager to grow into a Master Data specialist. The primary focus of the role is to manage transportation-related Master Data in our international transportation Hub in Warsaw.

The key responsibility of this role is to enable smooth transport planning and execution. Junior Data Specialist will also be actively contributing to new Implementation Projects as transportation Hub in Warsaw is actively growing. This will involve close collaboration and coordination with different teams inside the transportation Hub, as well as with other functions, carriers and solution providers.

This role is a great opportunity to learn SAP Transportation Management as well as Transporeon and other industry-standard transportation solutions. It is also a chance to be exposed to Robotic Process Automation and cutting-edge innovations in the transportation area and also Power BI analytics.

Location: Warsaw, Poland

Permanent Contract, Full Time

Hybrid work ( 60% at the office, 40% remote)

Main responsibilities will include:

• Set up and ensure ways of working with Hubs and Markets are aligned
• Create and maintain all relevant transport master data in scope, such as Transportation Lines, Business Shares, Rate Table, Vendor Sites etc.
• Ensure Carriers correctly set up and extension made in TRANSPOREON carrier`s platform
• Enable and push for standardization, such as control and approve EU* vehicle types
• Support Tender data collection
• Solve immediate data related errors to ensure seamless operations, put actions / health checks in place to avoid re-occurrence
• Solve Freight Settlement charge calculations related master data issues
• Support review and enhancement of existing KPI’s, support extraction if required
• Support activities regarding the on boarding of markets, businesses, locations concerning preparation, testing and validation of data such as Transportation Lanes, Means of Transport, Business Shares, Rate Table etc.
• Define, create & perform regular data health checks to maintain high data quality standards
• Define and share data quality reports
• Perform root cause analysis and propose data improvement initiatives
• Deliver System Implementation Projects on time, in full, and as per plan
• Collaborate and coordinate activities with markets, Hubs, RBS/IT, and third parties
• Act as an expert link between the system and relevant tools/providers, markets and businesses, and the T-Hubs
• Drive continuous improvement to projects to maximize Nestlé's opportunity to fully utilize system functionality
  
  

What will make You successful?

• Academic background with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems/Data Management or equivalent education combined with Logistics/Supply Chain knowledge
• Good standard of spoken and written English. (French would be an additional advantage)
• Knowledge of SAP TM, SAP ERP
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Planning and organization skills
• Structured and Objective thinking to make the best decisions, solve issues, and offer solutions
• Experience in transport or broader SC would be a plus
