Job summary

Talanto in Poland is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to build and maintain ELT pipelines on GCP/Azure, develop data models, and collaborate with senior teammates on greenfield data platform projects.

As a Junior Data Engineer, your role involves implementing and maintaining ingestion and transformation pipelines, building data models, and collaborating closely with senior team members. You’re a good match if you have experience with GCP’s data stack and aspiration to become a data professional. You will join one of our greenfield data platform projects.

This job is all about:

• building end-to-end ELT data pipelines on top of the GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Composer), or Azure (ADF, Synapse/Fabric, PySpark),
• collaborating within our project teams to meet client needs and deliver high-quality solutions.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• experience with Cloud Data Warehouses ,
• understanding of data modeling techniques,
• hands‑on SQL and Python skills,
• experience with Airflow, Dagster, ADF or other orchestration tools,
• effective communication skills, proficiency in Polish, and English,
• you also must have the legal right to work in the EU to apply for this position.
