Junior CI DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an energetic person to join our DevOps team, working in the Continuous Integration (CI) area. As part of a multicultural CI/Maintenance support team, you will have the opportunity to participate in creating new IT solutions and services. You will learn about the full software life cycle and the CI/DevOps way of working.

Our team operates in the telecommunications sector and is responsible for installation, configuration, and maintenance tasks. Troubleshooting, innovation, and knowledge sharing are also part of our daily work.

Tasks

• CI Machinery Development
• Troubleshooting CI Machinery
• Jenkins jobs/pipelines creation and configuration
• Creation and configuration of new repositories

Requirements

• Practical experience with Bash and Python scripting
• Practical experience with Perl scripting
• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming in Python
• Practical experience in working with Linux OS
• Good knowledge of GIT and Gerrit
• Practical experience with SCM systems like GIT/SVN
• Practical experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Artifactory, Gerrit)
• Experience in investigation and debugging of faults
• Understanding of containerization and virtualization
• Flexible and responsible personality with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills in English

Nice to have

• Knowledge of agile processes and practices
• Experience with REST API implementation
• Basic knowledge of mobile network systems (4G/5G)
• Experience with Jira
