Job Description

The Junior Business Analyst ensures the liaison between the business side and the IT side of an IT project. The Junior Business Analyst is knowledgeable in the business and in the applications of his area and bridges both. The Junior Business Analyst is responsible for the analysis and all related documentation for his allocated IT projects. The Junior Business Analyst defines how the scope of the IT project will be implemented within the existing applications, working closely with the software development team. His role includes establishing and maintaining strong regional relations for knowledge sharing and activities to achieve synergy with other BAs in the region, as well as with business units and regional/group teams.

Business requirement management

  • Bridges business and IT solutions manages business relations with stakeholders (including key users, lab managers, and business unit managers) on IT initiatives to ensure successful implementation.
  • Manages and tracks the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Prepares specifications, documentation
  • Ensures quality and timely delivery of the solutions
  • Providers regular updates on assigned requirements

Technical tasks

  • Prepares changes for Change Advisory Board
  • Executes test plans on the delivered solution
  • Participates in release process by doing manual testing of the release packages on User Acceptance environment
  • Supports system configuration
  • Delivers simple changes
  • Provides trainings to users on its application scope
  • Provides post go live support of any new solution deployed.
  • Prepares training materials, technical and end-user documentations
Qualifications

Experience:

  • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling, verification, and methodology development.
  • Experience aligning IT with business initiatives.
  • Experience in project coordination and project management.
  • Experience in specifying requirements on business applications
  • Experience with ERP like deployment projects in a mid-size organization

Language requirement:

  • Fluent English is a must [C1 level proficiency is expected, B2 is a minimum]
  • Fluent in the main scope language is a must
