Qualifications

• Proficiency in JVM languages (Java/Scala/Kotlin) or Rust.
• Experience with at least one web framework and understanding of web apps.
• Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Passion for building tools and learning new technologies.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop architecture and design patterns for processing and storing high-volume data.
• Develop software with a core focus around optimisation and performance.
• Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed design.
• Perform analysis of vast data stores and uncover insights.
